I enjoy staying busy – as always! Here’s a quick sampling of what I’ve been up to:

In my free time, I’m tackling the reading list recommended by Thomas Frank over at College Info Geek. Currently on my bookshelf, I’ve got The Four-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss, Josh Kaufman’s The Personal MBASo Good They Can’t Ignore You and How to Win at College by Cal Newport, Stephen Covey’s perennial classic The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Brain Rules by John Medina. Staples on any writer’s bookshelf, the trusty AP Stylebook, The Art and Craft of Feature Writing by William Blundell and William Zinsser’s On Writing Well earn a spot in my dorm room. Just for fun, I have copies of A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, The Genius of Dogs by Brian Hare and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World.

When all else fails, I may or may not turn to watching Scandal on Netflix.
